fitness friday #17: summer hair and body goal check-in!




fitness friday was born when like-minded bloggers desired a place to discuss hair and health goals and to remain accountable to themselves and each other for reaching those goals.

last week, i made some goals that i want to accomplish this summer in regards to the health of my body and hair. i need to hold myself accountable, so i will be checking in every now and then.
here's how i'm doing so far!

hair goals
*** finalize a mini twist regimen - this won't be finalized until i've finished a few trial runs. will update in august!
*** drink a cup of bamboo tea every night for the extra shot of silica - completed 3/7 days
*** try 3 different styles to dress up my mini twists - i did a bun-out which i put up into a ponytail, as well as 2 goddess braids after i went swimming, but i'm not counting those because i didn't get pictures (pics or it didn't happen!).

body goals
*** maintain a ketogenic diet that includes wine - i am back on a ketogenic diet but haven't re-introduced wine yet!
*** try 5 new low carb recipes - i made this cheesecake mousse and this bacon egg salad and both were to die for!
*** drink a glass of lemon water every morning for improved digestion - completed 5/7 days
*** participate in some form of meditative yoga everyday - completed 3/7 days
*** complete the dr. natura toxinout program - completed 7/7 days

i'm using the lift app to record my goal progress on my iPhone, and it's fantastic!
