weekly wishes #9

the other day, my boss told me that long hair suits me, and i think she is right.
i'm determined to let my hair really grow out without chopping it this time around.
i wish i could just leave it alone and let it grow without any effort but alas, the life of a dry-haired curly will never allow it.

last week's wish(es):
decorate my classroom
this is mostly done! whoop whoop!
i just have a few finishing touches before it's at perfection. at that point, pictures will abound!

clean my apartment
this is halfway crossed out because it is halfway clean. whoop!

fill my ad swap spots
i got swappy with my girls lauren and raine, but there are still two free spots via my buttons page!
feel free to claim those bad boys. who doesn't love free stuff???

sn: i finally created a blog twitter page on saturday, and i'm slightly scared. i used to be a twitter addict...

this week's wishes:
completely finish cleaning my apartment before friday
don't get re-addicted to twitter

ps: check out my feature on casey's blog!

I often have a half cleaned apartment, like if you just looked real fast it would be clean but if you looked close at the floor or oven you would not like it! Good luck with your wishes and Twitter!

    1. I wish that was what half-cleaned meant for me... lol. Half-cleaned means I've only cleaned half of my apartment... lol. So sad.
      Thanks for your comment! :)

  2. I strive to have a 2/3 clean house. We have three levels, so that gives me the freedom to let my top floor (where all of the bedrooms are) look like a hurricane just hit it while the main floor and basement is spotless. Balance my dear Watson. Ha-ha!

    1. Haha! So smart! But I live in a one-bedroom apt. I wonder if I can get away with a HAM bedroom and a clean common area. That'd be like my version of 2/3 clean. Yes... how can I do the least amount of work for the least amount of judgment? Lol.

    1. My personal Twitter account was like my entire life junior/senior year of college. Literally. It's like I hooked it up to an IV. I can't live that life as an adult!

  6. Twitter is the worst. It goes from healthy to not - so fast.

    1. I know, I know. I tried to avoid it, but it was calling my name a little too loudly.
I will definitely post some on here or Instagram although I teach high school, so it's really not decorating for real. It's really just not bare haha. And I share a room so her half is bare. But I will post some!

  7. Looks like you did way better than me for last week's goals ;) Congrats! Also I'm excited to see our button on your blog! :D
I do love Twitter and at some point used to be a bit addicted so I can see where you're coming from. Good luck with your goals this week.

  8. That's interesting how lots of folks are addicted to twitter. I'm barely on it. :-) I hope for your sake that you don't get re-addicted. Glad that you've completed most of your weekly wishes.

    1. I am determined to NOT make it the last thing I do at night, and first thing I do in the morning. This is what my life used to be on Twitter.

  9. good luck with your wishes!!! I have been finding twitter extremely stressful due to the amount of spam crap that's been on it. Your hair looks wonderful! I like it long

    1. Oh, I have noticed that! I just started it and have less than 50 followers, but I already got two spam DMs. I remember that was picking up when I closed my account the first time. So annoying.
      And thank you!

Put judgeapotamus away!!!! He's not welcome here! (Yes, I've decided he is a man... lol)
I don't think my room is all that great. It's just not completely bare. I teach high school so it's not all cutesy like elementary or middle school rooms, but I will put pics on here or Instagram!
